Northumberland County Community Emergency Management Coordinators has created a new app supporting personal emergency preparedness. Search ‘Northumberland Personal Emergency Preparedness' in the Apple App or Google Play stores to download.

The Northumberland Emergency Preparedness App is free and has tools including:

  • A Family Emergency Plan template.
  • Checklists for building a 72-Hour Emergency Kit, a Pet Emergency Kit and a Car Survival Kit.
  • A list of possible local hazards and responding accordingly.
  • Information about evacuations and ‘Shelter-in-Place' orders.
