Committees & Boards

The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand values community input and encourages residents to participate on local boards and advisory committees. These groups play an important role by providing advice and recommendations to Council on specific topics, as outlined in their Terms of Reference.

Members are appointed by Council at the beginning of each new term, following the municipal election held every four years. Appointments last for the duration of the Council term.

Committees and Boards

Advisory Committees and Boards help strengthen our community, providing opportunities to take part in the community's future direction. The Township benefits from the expertise and professionalism of public members of boards and committees. Volunteering is a great way for residents to get involved and make a difference.
