    As one of 54 centres in the Small Business Centres Ontario network, the BECN exists through a partnership between the Province of Ontario and Northumberland County. Serving all of Northumberland County, the BECN provides the “Expertise to Build & Grow Your Business” offering a full scope of services that will facilitate business start-up and expansion.

  • The OAFVC is a not-for-profit, small-batch food-processing facility.

    Designed with farmers in mind, the OAFVC supports fresh fruit and vegetable value-adding opportunities to increase farm revenue. The facility also helps with recipe development while staff work with food-processing start-up companies and expansions, in Ontario, to progress Research and Development, test batches, and to facilitate small-batch co-packing.

    The Town of Cobourg and the V13 Board of Partners (Nventure, Cobourg Police Service, the NMA, and Northumberland Makers) have designed the space to connect and empower industry, investors, makers, the research community, and other key partners locally and across the regional ecosystem.
