  • The Intro to Hockey program delivers a concise, entry level curriculum that teaches essential hockey fundamentals such as stick handling, shooting, passing and ice awareness through structured drills and game-based activities. While prior skating proficiency is not required, participants must be able to stand securely on the ice with skates and hold a stick without falling. Every participant is required to wear a helmet, skates, gloves, and bring a stick (full protective gear is strongly recommended for safety). The class is designed for players who are not yet able to lift the puck off the surface, so as students advance, the ice surface may be divided into a beginner and a more advanced group to ensure appropriate safety for all participants. Parents or guardians will not be allowed on the ice surface during this class.
