The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand wishes to advise residents and arena users that the Haldimand Community Memorial Arena renovation project has encountered a minor delay, resulting in a change to the anticipated opening date.
Originally scheduled to welcome users back on November 15, the arena is now anticipated to open on Monday, November 23, 2026.
Township staff are working closely with contractors to coordinate the remaining work and ensure a smooth transition from the renovation phase into the new ice season. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work through these final stages and prepare for a successful start to the season.
