NOTICE OF INTENTION

REMOVAL OF HOLDING

To amend Township of Alnwick/Haldimand Zoning By-law 19-2019 under Section 36(1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended

RE:    1225 Shelter Valley Road

Part of Lots 18 & 19, Concession A, Geographic Township of Haldimand, now Township of Alnwick/Haldimand

 The Council of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand will consider a by-law to remove the holding symbol from the above noted land at their meeting on March 24, 2026.

 Purpose and Effect of Proposed Amendment:

 The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment applies to land located at 1225 Shelter Valley Road, Part of Lots 18 & 19, Concession A, geographic Township of Haldimand, now the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, owned by James Brouwer. A Key Map is attached showing the location of the subject lands. 

 The purpose and effect of the zoning amendment is to amend Zoning By-law 19-2019 to remove the holding symbol “H” from the zone which permits the construction of a new clubhouse.
