NOTICE OF INTENTION

REMOVAL OF HOLDING

To amend Township of Alnwick/Haldimand Zoning By-law 19-2019 under Section 36(1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended

RE:     Shearer Point Road and Hampton Crescent, Roseneath

Part of Lots 8 and 9, Concession 4, Geographic Township of Alnwick, now Township of Alnwick/Haldimand

            Owner: Stanpar Holdings Ltd.  

            Our File No.: Z-04-2024

The Council of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand will consider a by-law to remove the holding symbol from the above noted land at their meeting on April 28, 2026.

Purpose and Effect of Proposed Amendment:

The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment applies to land located at Shearer Point Road and Hampton Crescent, Part of Lots 8 and 9, Concession 4, geographic Township of Alnwick, now the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, owned by Stanpar Holdings Ltd. A Key Map is attached showing the location of the subject lands. 

The purpose and effect of the zoning amendment is to amend Zoning By-law 19-2019 to remove the holding symbol “H” from the zones to allow for construction to proceed as per the executed subdivision agreement.
